Arrest made after man stabbed in face on Malabu Drive last week

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police have made an arrest, after they say a man was stabbed while sitting in his car on Malabu Drive last Wednesday.

According to police, 40-year-old Tyrell Sleet is responsible for that stabbing.

Police say a man and a woman were sitting in a car, parked on Malabu Drive, when Sleet came up and began stabbing the man.

They say the victim suffered injuries to his face and shoulder.

Sleet now faces two charges of assault.
