Arrest made in 2014 Lexington murder

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man who was in jail in Bourbon County on drug and other charges, was charged with a 2014 murder in Lexington, according to police. Investigators say 22-year old Allen Burgess shot and killed 18-year old Kierra Johnson on Scottsdale Circle in Lexington on June 30, 2014. Investigators say additional charges may be pending.

Lexington Police say Johnson was one of four women who were found shot around 10:39 p.m. on that June 30th night. She was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other three victims survived.
