Arrest made in fatal stabbing in Knox County

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police say they have a man in custody following a fatal stabbing in Knox County Friday.

According to police, 55-year-old Charles Davidson, of Corbin, was stabbed with a kitchen knife several times at a home in the Walker community.

Police say two women in the home drove Davidson to the hospital, where he died.

They say the suspect left the home and fled to Whitley County.

On Saturday, state police announced the arrest of 53-year-old Jeffery Todd Hammons, of London.

Hammons is charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence.
