Armed robbery at CVS Pharmacy in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say a clerk at a CVS Pharmacy on Old Todds Road was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday night. Investigators say a man walked into the store, shopped and brought some items to the checkout counter. Police say when the cash register door opened, the man pulled a gun on the clerk, demanded money, got it and took off.

Investigators say it’s unclear whether the robber ran off or left in a vehicle. Police say no one was hurt.
