Any added pressure for Cats as No. 1 vs. Boston?

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – UK assistant coach John Robic doesn’t see much importance in being ranked number one in the country.

While it’s not the same as being number one at the end of the season, it is a big deal though.

With Boston in town for a 9 o’clock tip tomorrow night, is there any added pressure on the Cats being just 7 point favorites hosting the Terriers?

Coach Robic doesn’t see it that way.

The players agree the target remains just as big as ever so the pressure stays the same at Kentucky.

Marcus Lee agrees while the number one ranking is nice, it doesn’t mean much at this point of the season.

Lee was also asked today about Coach Cal’s intensity in practice since the 15-point, ho-hum win over Wright State that had many Solid Blue fans thinking the Cats took a step backward.

Hear from Robic and Lee in the video.
