Another Arrest Made in Inez House Fire

State Police have a second person in custody following a house fire in Martin County that killed three people.

Troopers arrested Amanda Bowen, 26, on Tuesday and charged her with three counts of murder and one count of robbery.

Another suspect, 41-year-old Jack Smith, was arrested on Saturday and charged with three counts of murder, one count of robbery and one count of tampering with physical evidence.

Shortly before 4:30 Saturday morning, KSP was notified of a house fire in Inez. Investigators said they found three bodies inside when they arrived.

According to the Mountain Citizen newspaper, the victims were identified as Tina Goble, her husband Canie Johnson, Jr. and her granddaughter, 8-year-old Trinity Maynard.

No motives have been released at this time.

State Police are still investigating.
