Anderson County Schools to return to normal schedule after credible threat
ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Anderson County Schools will be back in session Monday after state police arrested a man they think would have otherwise carried out an attack.
Troopers say they arrested Dylan Jarrell this week after finding him backing out of his driveway with a gun, more than 200 rounds of ammunition, a Kevlar bullet proof vest, a 100-round high capacity magazine and a detailed plan.
According to troopers, the investigation started when a woman in New Jersey called, complaining Jarrell was harassing her online.
Monday, schools will be on a regular schedule, but KSP and local officers will provide extra security throughout the day.
