Anderson County gets emergency funds for slide repairs

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced Tuesday Anderson County will receive funds to fix a road hit by mudslides.

The county will get $88,900 in emergency funds to be used to repair Timber Creek Road, according to the cabinet.

The cabinet says the repairs are needed to make travel safer for cars, school buses and other vehicles that rely on the highway.
