Amazon brings smiles to Fayette County Public School students

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – As kids get ready to go back to school, parents are out looking for school supplies this year, many will turn to internet giant Amazon for their shopping.

But for the students at one Fayette County School, Amazon is coming to them and bringing some new swag, for free.

It’s all part of a new partnership between Booker T. Washington Primary and Intermediate Academies and corporations in Lexington.

According to brand Superintendent Manny Caulk, just four days on the job, partnerships between the district, community and businesses are vital to the success of the school district.
