After refusing to leave, man is shot by ex’s current boyfriend

HENDERSON, Ky. (WTVQ) – KSP say a woman called 911 on Saturday, after her current boyfriend shot her ex.

The call came from Old Country Road at Harold, and State Police say preliminary investigation shows that Eric Edmonds, ex boyfriend to Leslie Cooley, drove to her house to confront her, with intent to cause harm.

Upon Edmond’s arrival, he allegedly ignored Cooley’s and her current boyfriend Stan Lee’s demands to leave the home. Lee then shot Edmonds.

Eric Edmonds was transported to Pikeville Medical Center for possible life threatening injuries, says KSP, and the case will be presented to a grand jury for consideration. The investigation continues, but at this time no charges have been filed.
