Accidental shooting in Pulaski County by constable

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A Pulaski County constable accidentally shot his friend sending him to the hospital.

That’s according to the sheriff who says Constable Mike Wallace was with friends in his garage Friday afternoon.

He reportedly took a gun out of his pocket when it went off.

The sheriff says the bullet hit one of Wallace’s friends, 25-year-old Joshua Mullins.

Wallace drove Mullins to the hospital in his police cruiser.

Mullins underwent surgery soon after and is in intensive care.
