A warmer weekend ahead

Temperatures peaked around average today (in the upper 60s and low 70s), and we see above average temperatures for the next week.  Clouds will continue to clear through the overnight hours, and temperatures will stay on the warm side; we will wake up to the mid 50s Friday morning.  Friday will be partly cloudy day, and the warming trend continues with highs near 80.

The Easter weekend forecast is not looking too bad with our next chance for showers and storms for our northern counties on Saturday and highs near 80.  Easter Sunday comes with isolated chance for showers/storms and highs in the mid 70s.

Rain chances continue Monday as a cold front sweeps across the state, but temperatures won’t drop too much behind the front.  Temperatures are forecasted to stay in the 70s through most of next work week.
