A chilly Friday morning with a warmer weekend ahead
One of the coldest mornings so far this season
Before sunrise, temperatures dipped into the upper 30s for many of us. This is likely the coolest we will get until we reach late fall and early winter. A jacket, flannel, or long sleeves and pants will likely be the best choice as you get ready for your day. Temperatures will gradually warm as the sun rises, bringing us all back up to the 40s by late morning.
Friday afternoon feels fall-like
By this afternoon, temperatures for most of us will reach the low 70s. Winds will be light out of the south, not quite as breezy as they were on Thursday. This will help us not be as chilly during the day. Still, it’ll be very fall-like, especially as we head into the evening. Once the sun sets, it’ll feel even cooler. If you have any outdoor evening plans or are heading out to any Friday football, grab a jacket and maybe a blanket as well to keep you warm.
Pleasant and calm weekend weather
We’ll see a slight warm-up this weekend with temperatures in the low to mid-70s with milder mornings. If you plan on heading to the pumpkin patch, corn maze, apple orchard, or any other outdoor fall festivity, you may want a light jacket but you will probably take it off by the afternoon. Partly cloudy skies will help to keep things cooler; however, when that sun does shine, it’ll feel warmer. Fields likely won’t be muddy, as we’ve had plenty of dry conditions and sunshine, so that’s one less thing to worry about this weekend.
