Semi-truck accident backs up traffic on I-64

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Drivers on I-64 saw traffic moving slowly as responders dealt with a semi-truck accident on I-64.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened around Exit 55 Monday afternoon. A semi-truck ran off the road, resulting in traffic being backed up.

Crews are working to clear the scene and the roadway will be reopening soon.
