Traffic Alert: Lane closures scheduled for US 25 in Fayette County

LEXINGTON, Ky. (KYTC) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Department of Highways, announces that installations are scheduled for areas on US 25 in Lexington, Fayette County. The work is necessary for KentuckyWired to be implemented.

Monday, Dec. 28 through Tuesday, Dec. 29
7:00 p.m. Monday until 6:00 a.m. Tuesday
• a right lane closure will be in effect for Kentucky Avenue at mile point 13.3
• a right lane closure will be in effect for Old Lafayette Avenue at mile point 13.2

Tuesday, Dec. 29 through Wednesday, Dec. 30
7:00 p.m. Tuesday until 6:00 a.m. Wednesday
• a right lane closure will be in effect for Old Lafayette Avenue at mile point 13.2
• a right lane closure will be in effect for Clay Avenue and North Ashland Avenue
at mile point 12.8
• right lane closures will be in effect for US 25 at the following mile points:
12.3, 12.1, 12.0, 11.9, 11.2 and 10.2
