Deadly collision closes part of I-75 in Rockcastle County

ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A deadly collision tonight shut down a stretch of I-75 in Rockcastle County.

State police say a vehicle overturned in the median near mile marker 64. Traffic was detoured onto U.S. 25. But troopers say the nearest exit is 2 miles away. KSP says drivers will be well into Rockcastle County before they know there’s a big traffic backup.

State police say the coroner was called to the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
