Wet weather blamed for numerous accidents in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say wet roads were a factor in a number of accidents on Monday, including two that snarled traffic along I-75 in Fayette County.
Investigators says an SUV rolled over in the northbound lane of I-75 near mile marker 117. Police say no one was hurt.
Police say there was a separate rollover accident in the southbound lane near the 118 mile marker. Investigators say a pickup truck pulling a trailer flipped over with two people inside the pickup.
Police say they’re still trying to determine if wet roads were factor in a third accident where a car ended up in a ditch after hitting a light pole on Versailles Road. Investigators say no one was hurt.
