Expect mid-morning traffic in Downtown Lexington Friday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Expect some mid-morning Friday traffic in Downtown Lexington Friday.

A performance of Disney on Ice Presents Frozen will be taking place for students at Rupp Arena at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 12th.

Students will be arriving from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and leaving from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

“Lexington motorists traveling in and out of downtown near Lexington center and Rupp Arena are strongly advised to plan ahead and use alternate routes to avoid High Street and Broadway during this time frame,” Bill Owen, President and CEO of Lexington Center, said, “People should allow extra time for their morning and lunchtime commute.”

Disney on Ice Presents Frozen will have seven performances at Rupp from Thursday, April 11th-Sunday April 14th.
