Victims of deadly Perry County collision identified

HAZARD, Ky. (WTVQ)- State Police identified two people who died in a three-vehicle collision in Perry County over the weekend.

KSP says the crash happened just after 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon on Highway 15 in the Grapevine community.

Investigators say 59-year-old Robert Campbell, of Hazard, was traveling south on KY 15, when his car went into the northbound lane. The say his car collided with a 2006 Ford Ranger and a 2013 KIA Optima. They say Campbell was taken to Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center, where he died.

The driver of the KIA was 48-year-old Judy Willoughby, of Booneville.  She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her husband, Richard Willoughby, and another passenger were taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Ford Ranger, John Roberts, of Bear Branch, was not injured.

Investigators say they do not suspect impairment as a factor in the crash, toxicology reports are pending.

State Police say no autopsies will be performed.
