Police warn about candy bar scam

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Winchester Police Department is warning people to be on the lookout for someone selling candy bars.

Police released photos of a man they say is trying to sell candy bars at local businesses, claiming he is raising money for Montgomery County Upward Basketball.

The Montgomery County Upward Basketball says the man is not associated with the program and he is not raising funds for the program.
