Representative Comer out of Governor race
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky Republican Congressman, James Comer announced he will not be running for Governor.
Representative Comer tweeted he had, “zero desire to run against a multi-millionaire incumbent Governor in a primary regardless of how unpopular he was.”
Comer said earlier this month he would run if the Governor didn’t.
In his statement, he added he thinks Matt Bevin will be re-elected and he wishes him luck.
