Soggy Friday weather ahead of a mostly dry weekend
Friday
On and off rain showers will move through the Bluegrass throughout the day. At some points, this rainfall may be heavy. No major impacts are expected. You may hear a few rumbles of thunder. Temperatures will be mild in the mid-60s thanks to a warm front. The rain will persist overnight, accompanied by some thunderstorms after midnight.
Weekend
Rain will linger Saturday morning. This will begin to clear by early afternoon, leaving only a bit of drizzle for those in the SE. By the evening, we’ll be clear and cool in the 30s. Despite a chilly morning on Sunday, the afternoon will be pleasant. We’ll see lots of sunshine alongside temperatures in the low 60s.
Holiday week
Next week continues to trend active, especially in terms of precipitation. Rain looks likely to end our Monday and throughout Tuesday. Precipitation will likely stick around for late week as well, possibly meaning travel impacts for Thanksgiving. Nothing looks concerning as of now, and the forecast is too far out to know many details. Temperatures are trending chillier by Thursday, so the fall sweaters will be needed for your turkey dinner.
