Wet and cool to start off the work week
Mild temperatures for most of the week
Throughout this week, we won’t see a significant difference between morning and afternoon temperatures, as cloud cover will limit both cooling and heating. We’ll stay in the 40s-50s for lows and 50s-60s for highs. Heading into the end of the week, clouds will clear, and we’ll be able to see temperatures dropping into the 30s for overnight lows. We’ll continue to see below-average high temperatures through the week.
Soggy conditions leading up to Halloween
Monday morning will be rainy for those in the southwest. Rain chances will increase from south to north through the early afternoon, ending with scattered drizzle through the evening. Most will only see 0.10-0.20″ of rain today. Tonight, rain chances will fizzle out closer to Tuesday morning, where we’ll see a mostly dry day. Wednesday is our best chance of widespread rain this week, where we may pick up nearly 0.50″ in some areas. Rain chances as of now appear to remain isolated through Thursday and Friday morning, so as of now, trick-or-treating should be ok. But this could still change, and we’ll monitor the forecast as we get closer.
