UPDATE: All lanes back open after closure on I-75 Southbound in Laurel County due to semi-truck fire
UPDATE: According to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, all lanes were back open just before 12:30 pm.
LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A commercial motor vehicle fire has caused lane closures on Interstate 75 in Laurel County.
According to a Facebook post from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 11, only the left lane of I-75 southbound at mile marker 32.5 remains open while crews respond to the incident.
Officials urge drivers to use caution in the area and expect potential delays. There is no word yet on when all lanes will reopen.
