Body of missing woman found
MAYSVILLE, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The body of a Maysville woman who was reported missing in December was found Saturday morning, according to Maysville Police.
According to Facebook post by the Maysville Police Department, officers, along with the Buffalo Trace Search and Rescue, found the body of 47-year-old Eugenia Harris Cooley near the area of Wald Park in Mason County at just before 11 a.m.
It is unclear what happened to Cooley.
According to a the post, Cooley was last seen walking out of her apartment complex on Meadow Drive around December 20.
Police are working with the Mason County Coroner’s Office to determine the cause of death.
