Two people arrested in connection to bank robbery
LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Two people have been arrested in connection to a bank robbery that occurred on Wednesday.
Police say 36-year-old Corey Burch was arrested on Friday, Jan. 31, in Nicholasville
Burch is charged with robbery 1st degree, fleeing or evading, tampering with physical evidence and drug charges.
He’s being held in the Jessamine County Detention Center.
30-year-old Danzell Donte Cruse was arrested Wednesday night around 7:30 p.m.
Cruse is facing charges of robbery, fleeing or evading police, tampering with physical evidence and drug charges.
He is being held in the Fayette County Detention Center.
According to police, the robbery happened around 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the Central Bank on Southland Drive.
Police say a man demanded cash and then left with the money.
