KSP investigate officer-involved accident

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal collision in London involving an off-duty officer with the Lancaster Police Department.

According to KSP, just before 11:45 Saturday night Troopers were called for a two-vehicle accident on US 27 near Old Norwood Road.

Investigations show that 31-year-old Officer Derrick Glover was traveling south on US 27 when his vehicle hit the rear of an off-road motorcycle driven by a juvenile.

The juvenile was not wearing a helmet and died from his injuries.

The investigation into the accident is still ongoing.
