Tracking isolated rain showers today
As a mostly dry cold front sweeps across Kentucky today, we are tracking isolated rain showers. With increasing cloud coverage ahead of the front, most areas will only top out in the upper 80s today; however, if your area gets some rain, you likely won’t see more than the mid 80s.
Behind today’s cold front, Thursday is looking to be quiet and mostly sunny. Another moisture-starved cold front will pass during the day Friday leaving below average temperatures and more comfortable humidity levels for the weekend. We will remain quiet through the weekend ahead of another system that could bring more rain chances late Monday into early Tuesday.
Still no local impacts from what is now Tropical Storm Debby. It is currently positioned off the South Carolina coast and is expected to make landfall again in South Carolina Thursday before creeping up the eastern US this weekend.
