Lower humidity to end the week

Meteorologist Dillon Gaudet has the latest in your full ABC 36 Storm Team forecast

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Happy Friday! We are tracking some nice conditions to end your workweek. Afternoon highs today will be reaching the mid-to-upper 80s across the region. Yes, temperatures will still be warm but the humidity will be noticeably lower than the last few days. This lower humidity will lead to a very comfortable start to your Saturday. Temperatures will be heating up Saturday afternoon after that nice start. Highs on Saturday will likely hit 90 in spots, with widespread upper 80s across the region. Once again, the humidity won’t be too high.

Sunday is where rain and storm chances will return across the region. This pattern will continue into the middle of next week. Rain could be heavy at times, particularly Monday and Tuesday. If you live in a low-lying and flood prone area, be alert for rising creeks and streams next week. This is the type of setup that could lead to heavy rain and storms. It’s also going to be very humid, with dewpoints climbing back in the low-to-mid 70s.

Stay with the ABC 36 Storm Team for more updates.
