Days long search for man ends, man found alive
WOLFE COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Wolfe County Search and Rescue Team announced on Facebook on Saturday that a days long search for a man at Red River Gorge has ended.
Scott Allen Hern, 49, was found alive.
He was last seen by his family on July 4th and was found alive on Saturday but in need of medical attention.
The search and rescue team announced they were working on an air evacuation from his current location.
Hern’s vehicle was last seen at the Tower Rock parking area along HWY 715 in the Red River Gorge area on July 6th.
