1 person arrested, another injured in accident

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Lexington Police Department is investigating a three vehicle accident.

According to LPD, officers were called around 4:45 Sunday afternoon to the intersection of Eastland Drive and East New Circle Road for an accident.

Upon arrival, officers found three vehicles were involved.

A juvenile in one of the vehicles was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

One juvenile was arrested on scene and charged with a DUI.

The roadway was closed while they cleared the scene.
