Baptist Health Lexington holds ribbon cutting for new center
Lexington, Ky. (WTVQ)– Baptist Health Lexington held a ribbon cutting for its newest outpatient medical center, Baptist Health Hamburg.
Many people came out for the momentous occasion.
Attendees were able to hear from Baptist Health President Chris Roty, Mayor Linda Gorton, Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman and so many more.
Baptist Health says the center was designed with a primary focus on convenient patient care. The center offers an ambulatory surgery center, an emergency department, a cancer center, specialty care, and a multistory physician office complex.
“So, here we go. It’s great care in the right place at the right time right from our heart,” said Chris Roty. ” I thank you all just for coming out here today. We certainly could not have done it without the generosity of our community and it’s certainly a great day for healthcare in Kentucky.”
After the ribbon cutting, attendees were able to take tours of the new center.
The ER opens on Monday, April 22 at 7 a.m. with other centers opening later that week.
