Robbery suspect arrested

Lexington, Ky. (WTVQ) — One person has been arrested in connection with a robbery.

According to LPD, around 7 a.m. on Saturday officers were called to the 100 block of Lowry Lane for a robbery.

Police say the suspect entered the business, stole merchandise under the threat of force then fled on foot. No injuries were reported.

The suspect was found later on Regency Road and is being charged with second degree robbery and possession of methamphetamine.
