National Weather Service confirms EF-1 tornado damage in Anderson County

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The National Weather Service office in Louisville has confirmed at least EF-1 tornado damage in Anderson County. This is the storm that caused extensive damage to a home and barn on Willisburg Road in Anderson County. The storm survey team from NWS Louisville also confirmed EF-1 tornado damage in Nelson County from Tuesday morning. This is preliminary data and will be updated as the storm survey team continues there work.

Numerous storm damage reports have come in across central and eastern Kentucky as result of the round of morning storms that rolled through the region.
