One dead in Scott Co. crash
Scott County, Ky. (WTVQ) — One person has died after an accident in Scott County.
According to the Scott County Sherriff’s Office, around 11:30 Friday night, deputies were called to Leestown Road and Adams Lane for a crash.
Officials say a pickup truck was traveling west bound on Leestown Road, when the vehicle went off the road hitting a utility pole and then hitting a tree.
The driver was pronounced deceased at Georgetown Community Hospital.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.
The name of the driver has not yet been released.
