One man dead after early morning shooting

Lexington, Ky. (WTVQ) — One man has died after an early morning shooting.

The Fayette County Coroner has identified the victim as 31-year-old Chadrick Alexander Boone. He was pronounced dead at the UK Chandler Medical Center around 5 a.m.

LPD is investigating this shooting as a homicide.

Police say around 3:30 a.m. they responded to the 900 block of Winchester Road for a shooting with a victim. Upon arrival, they found Boone in the parking lot.

Police say no one else was hurt.

There is no suspect information at this time. The shooting is still under investigation.
