Scott County road closed while traffic moves onto new bridge

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Switzer Road/ KY 1689 at milepoint 1.81 in Scott County will temporarily be closed this week while the transportation cabinet moves traffic onto a new bridge.

According to the cabinet, the road will be closed from 7:30 a.m. Monday, October 8th until 8 a.m. Sunday, October 21.

There will be a detour in place. Scott County Schools will also be out of session for fall break.
