Traffic delays around Lexington as slick roads cause several crashes
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Slick roads have caused several crashes around Lexington Wednesday morning.
Lexington police and fire have responded to the following roads for injury and non-injury collisions:
- Russell Cave Road near Iron Works Pike — one lane is reportedly blocked near Russell Cave Elementary School
- Inner loop Man o War Boulevard at Alumni Drive — left lane and turn lane are blocked at the intersection
- Inbound Georgetown Road at Parallel Drive
- Outer loop Man o War Boulevard at Easthills Drive — right lane is blocked
- Inbound Georgetown Road at Kearney Ridge Boulevard
- Hays Boulevard at Athens Boonesboro — one lane is blocked
- I-75N at Exit 113 — exit ramp down to one lane
- Inbound Harrodsburg Road just prior to Lane Allen Road — left lane is blocked
- Inbound Nicholasville Road at Zandale Drive — two rightmost lanes are blocked
Expect travel delays throughout the day.
Officials warn drivers to slow down and increase following distances.
