Rain chances begin to increase
Meteorologist Jordan Smith has a look at your Thursday forecast!
Lexington, Kentucky (WTVQ – ABC 36): Good Thursday everyone, it is a winner of a weather day with high temperatures this afternoon reaching the upper 50s to near 60. That is impressive considering we started out yesterday morning with a wind chill of 10 degrees. But the nice weather today quickly turns wet into the overnight with a multi day rain chance kicking off. Rain will be pretty widespread and moderate to heavy at times Friday morning into the early afternoon.
By the afternoon rain will become more scattered with highs back in the mid to upper 50s.
Saturday looks mainly dry but a few showers will defiantly be around with highs into the mid to upper 50s again. Sunday – Tuesday looks to feature a few “light” rain makers rolling into the area, but no day is close to a washout. Temperatures turn cold again by midweek.
