Lexington, Kentucky (WTVQ – ABC 36): Good Sunday evening everyone, it has been a wet and chilly day across the Bluegrass. Rains are pushing off to the east this evening as COLD air pours into the state. Snow flurries and maybe even an out and out snow shower is possible tonight into Monday as temperatures hit the upper 20s by morning.

Monday is just a downright cold day all around with afternoon highs only in the mid to upper 30s but a wind chill that will stay in the upper 20s to low 30s.

Tuesday morning is frigid with temperatures into the upper teens to low 20s and a wind chill in the low to mid teens.

Tuesday afternoon will find temperatures staying into the low to mid 30s for highs.

Wednesday morning will start back into the low 20s with a wind chill into the teens.

We start to climb out of the real frigid stuff by Wednesday afternoon with highs back into the upper 40s to low 50s and sunny skies. We stay dry into Thursday as well with highs in the low to mid 50s. But another system moves into Kentucky by early Friday morning with more rain and wind.
