Crews called to scene of duplex fire on Spring Meadows Drive in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — In Lexington, firefighters were called to the scene of a fire at a duplex Wednesday afternoon.
It happened just before 12:30 on Spring Meadows Drive.
The Lexington Fire Department says the fire started on the back deck and LFD noticed smoke coming from the attic, indicating the fire had spread.
Crews were able to cut a vent in the roof to extinguish the flames.
No one was at home at the time of the fire.
The cause is still under investigation.
