Update: Suspect arrested in connection with Saturday night shooting
Lexington, Ky. (WTVQ) — Update: 10:24 A.M.
One person has been arrested in connection with a shooting that occurred Saturday night on Jennifer Road.
LPD says they arrested 27-year-old John Murphy. He is being charged with Assault 1st Degree.
He is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.

Police are investigating a late-night shooting that left one man injured.
Lexington Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Jennifer Road around 10:50 p.m. Saturday night, for reports of a gunshot victim.
Upon arrival, police found a male victim with non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to the hospital.
Officials say police were able to make contact with the suspect.
LPD says the suspect has been arrested and criminal charges are pending upon further investigation.
The investigation is on-going.
