I-64 lane closure in Woodford County extended

WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Transportation Cabinet is extending a lane closure on I-64 in Woodford County.

Contract crews have been doing concrete pavement repairs on I-64 west this weekend between Midway and Frankfort.

The Cabinet says the crew’s equipment malfunctioned so they were not able to pour concrete until Sunday afternoon.

That means part of the road must stay closed until late Monday morning.

Until about 10 a.m, one lane of I-64 west will be open between mile markers 62 and 63.
