Vehicle flips on I-75 in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police are on the scene of a wreck along I-75 near mile marker 107.

Officers say a couple was driving a van southbound when one of their tires failed, causing the van to cross a lane of traffic and go off the road, flipping several times.

Police say the damage to the van was severe enough that they had to cut the couple out.

Both were sent to the hospital, though police say they don’t believe either of them suffered life-threatening injuries.
