Multiple burglary charges for Louisville pair in Madison Co.
RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Madison Co. Sheriff says two men arrested for a gas station robbery in Waco have also been charged with the theft of a Dollar General in Richmond.
According to the Sheriff, deputies responded to an alarm activation at a BP in Waco just before 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 27. When they arrived, deputies say the glass in the front door of the business had been shattered. While they were investigating, officers with the Richmond Police Department pulled over an SUV at Irvine Road and Eastern Bypass. Using surveillance video from the robbery, deputies say they were able to identify the two occupants of the SUV as the people responsible for the burglary.
Christopher Elliot, 37, and Scott Kincaid, 45 – both from Louisville – were charged with burglary. Kincaid received additional charges of possession of burglary tools, and identity theft. Both men were taken to the Madison Co. Detention Center.
A few days later, on March 31, detectives charged the two men for an additional robbery at a Dollar General Store on Boonesboro Road in Richmond. Elliott and Kincaid received charges of burglary and criminal mischief in connection to that robbery.
