Warrants catch up to East Bernstadt man after DUI arrest

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Laurel Co. Sheriff says an East Bernstadt man was arrested on a DUI, but ended up with a slew of additional charges.

It happened just after 11:00 p.m. Saturday night on KY 490 about 7 miles north of London.  According to the Sheriff, 31-year-old Marlow Baker was under the influence, and admitted to taking suboxone.  Baker was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence, driving on a suspended license, and numerous other traffic violations.

Along with that, the Sheriff says Baker was wanted on outstanding warrants, including failure to appear in court regarding previous fleeing and evading charges, wanton endangerment, and another DUI charge.

Baker was taken to the Laurel Co. Detention Center.
