Patrol officer resigns after “Inappropriate Conversations”

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) –According to the Frankfort Police Chief Jeff Abrams, inappropriate conversations with a Franklin County Regional Jail inmate resulted in a patrol officer’s resignation.

After an investigation was opened regarding the nature and content of those conversations, the officer decided to resign.

Chief Abrams said the city has accepted patrol officer Benjamin Sullivan’s resignation.

Questions regarding the content of those conversations were declined at the release.
