8th annual youth coat drive underway

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The 8th annual ‘A Coat to Keep the Cold Away’ coat drive is underway.

Devine Carama, founder of Believing in Forever, Inc., said they’ve given away more than 12,500 brand new coats to youth in Central and Eastern Kentucky over the past seven years.

The Lexington hip hop artist and community activist started the nonprofit to give back to youth in the community.

New coat donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday at the Loudon House located at 209 Castlewood Drive in Lexington between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
