KSP searching for escaped Webster County inmate

SEBREE, Ky. (WTVQ)- State police are looking for a Webster County inmate who reportedly walked away from a work-release program.

Troopers say 40-year-old William W. Adams is 5-feet-10 inches tall, 220 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes. They say he was wearing an orange sweatshirt and khaki pants when he left the Sebree City Garage on South State Street in Sebree.

According to state police, Adams was in jail on drug charges. They say anyone who comes in contact with him should not try to apprehend him. Instead, dial 911 or call Kentucky State Police at 1-270-676-3313, or toll-free in Kentucky at 1-800-222-5555.
