Suspect rammed deputy’s cruiser after car chase

GARRARD CO., Ky. (WTVQ) — According to police, 28-year-old Jonathan Durham led police on a lengthy chase, before ramming one of their vehicles with his stolen getaway car.

The Garrard County Sheriff’s Office says the chase went from Ballard Road to Sugar Creek Road, where Deputies tried to stop Durham. The man allegedly turned his vehicle around and smashed it into a deputy’s cruiser. Police say Durham then got out of the vehicle and started to run away, before being chased down and captured.

He is being charged with Fleeing and Evading police, Assault on Police, and several other charges.
